Suzlon, Yanara extend partnership with 306 MW wind turbine orders

Suzlon and Yanara inked two contracts totaling 306 MW for FDRE projects in Rajasthan’s Barmer district, deploying 102 S144 3 MW turbines on hybrid lattice towers. The orders reinforce Suzlon’s 2.3 GW presence in the state and will help Yanara meet PPAs with NTPC and NHPC as India advances toward 500 GW of non-fossil capacity by 2030. The projects are part of an ~800 MWp hybrid strategy integrating wind, solar, and storage for round-the-clock clean power.

Remal Alcast has launched an integrated aluminium billet casthouse in Maharashtra, blending Almex casting technology, Swastik furnaces, in-house labs, and a Secat partnership to deliver high-purity, precisely engineered billets. Phase 1 has already delivered 2,300 tonnes; output will scale to 4,500 tonnes/month by April 2026 with custom alloys, followed by advanced scrap sorting and renewable inputs by November 2026 to produce low-carbon billets. The $50 million, AS9100D/ISO 45001/ISO 14001-certified facility targets aerospace, automotive, renewable energy, and extrusion markets and will create about 400 jobs.
